Set up Twitter attribution

Enable Twitter attribution by setting Localytics as your Twitter mobile measurement partner.

To enable Twitter attribution, you'll need to enter your iTunes App ID or Google Play Android Package in Attribution Settings. If you ever need to change the ID, you'll need to disable Twitter attribution, change the ID, and then re-enable Twitter attribution.

You can't add Localytics as your Twitter mobile measurement partner if you already have a different mobile measurement partner. Before you begin, make sure you don't already have an mobile measurement partner set up with Twitter.

  1. Navigate to Attribution Settings.
  2. Under Advertising Partners Setup, select Twitter.
  3. Note: Be sure to authenticate with a Twitter @handle that can access all ad accounts you want to track through Localytics.
    Authenticate using Twitter. You'll need to accept the terms and conditions that are displayed.
    Your @handle is connected to Localytics. All connected ad accounts are displayed in the Dashboard.
  4. Select the ad account(s) you want to track.
  5. At the bottom of the page, click Save.
    After successfully setting up the integration in Localytics, it may take up to ten minutes for Localytics to appear as your app's mobile measurement partner in the Twitter Ads dashboard.
Your installs will post back to Twitter from Localytics.
