Customize the distribution of your campaign

Custom campaign setup enables customers to send a campaign to a specific percentage of a target audience and to customize the percent distribution of each message variant in an A/B or multivariate test.

This is useful if you want to, for example, test before you blast. Try creating a recurring push campaign to re-engage users who haven’t had a session in the past few days. Write four versions of the message copy and set up a campaign with variants A, B, C, and D. Send this campaign to 10% of your Audience, with each version weighted evenly. After the message is sent, check your performance screen to see which version is the winner. Edit the campaign by turning off the other variants and send the winning version to the remaining 90% of the Audience.

  1. In Creatives, click Creative Setup.
  2. Choose the percentage of the total Audience to which you want to send your campaign variants.
  3. Choose the percentage of targeted users that will receive each creative variant.
  4. Click Done.
