The Push API allows you to send push notifications to app users in real time when an event is triggered inside or outside your app. You can send transactional notifications to an individual user or to a set of users.
Use transactional push messages when you want to notify an individual user or set of users about a transaction in real time or when you want to send notifications to a targeted segment of users at a time you schedule.
To send a push notification programmatically, you need to make an API call and send the data associated with each push message to Localytics. When Localytics receives the API call, the push message is then sent to the individual user or audience of users you specify.
