Sessions

Every time a user launches an application, a session is created.

Each session represents one instance of a user opening the app. Sessions are the starting point of analyzing an app. Sessions can be used to track:

• Overall usage by looking at session counts
• Engagement by looking at session lengths
• Loyalty by looking at how many sessions users have
• Frequency by looking at the time interval between sessions
